Meals on Wheels 2012 Conference

Graphic Design

Meals on Wheels America (formerly MOWAA) hosts an Annual Conference offering hundreds of Meals on Wheels Members educational opportunities, dynamic speaker sessions, and an excellent chance to network with other Meals On Wheels Members.
The 2012 Conference was unique. Perspectives on Nutrition and Aging: A National Summit was an event that took place in the middle of the Conference. Since it was partially funded with a government grant, it needed to be branded differently.

My challenge was to design the Conference and Summit as separate but related events. To capture the idea of different perspectives coming together to create a brighter future an abstract faceted diamond concept was born. The triangles were designed to represent different ideas and concepts branching off each other and growing together, much like crystals forming naturally.
